The local library didn't get much current stock. Mostly history and nature classics. The short stories reminded me of people I saw around town. I imagined I was reading about their lives.

Logan died, back home, over a year ago. His healing factor was compromised and the metal on his bones poisoned him. Slowly. We buried him and I mourned him, until I saw him again here. If I leave and go back.. he won't be there.
