It's habit. I've never slept very much.

or chopping wood

or doing anything at all

I like the look of you when you don't know you're being watched. The way your face gets when you're concentrating, or just before you fall asleep.

Maybe you like it because you can tell I'm thinking about you and wondering when you're going to try sneaking up on me in the shower. And what I will do with you when you get there

You know, I'm pretty used to the tree analogy. I don't think anyone's ever used poetry to make it, though.

I'd like more than just your thoughts twined around me.
